Two of the world leaders in content production, MEDIAPRO and Oficina Burman, have reached an agreement whereby the powerful Argentinian content creator managed by Daniel Burman integrates into the MEDIAPRO Group. In this way, the creative talents of Oficina Burman join forces with MEDIAPRO Group's leadership position in audiovisual production. The incorporation falls within the Group's expansion strategy aimed at reinforcing and strengthening its content area at the international level, and comes just months after an initial collaboration agreement to develop content and formats for the global market. Coinciding with the Berlin International Film Festival, Jaume Roures and Daniel Burman presented the operation in the German capital to the principal players in the audiovisual industry and specialized media. As a result of this integration, several projects are already in the development stages, including the adaptation of the book "IOSI. The Reformed Spy" by Miriam Lewin and Horacio Lutzky, which tells the story of a spy who infiltrated the Jewish community and ended up giving vital information to the perpetrators of the attacks on the Israeli Embassy and the AMIA; the worst bomb attack in Argentina's history. "Stroke", an original script by Daniel Burman himself, is also underway.
Daniel Burman is the latest major talent to join the long list of professionals who make up MEDIAPRO's international content division, which features other names such as Ran Tellem, creator of the well-known television game shows "Boom" and "Ahora caigo" and executive producer of "Homeland", and Stephen Johnstone. The incorporation of Oficina Burman into the Group marks the birth of one of the most important Spanish-speaking audiovisual content hubs.
Oficina Burman was set up in 2014 by Daniel Burman, co-producer of films such as "Truman" (Cesc Gay), "The Motorcycle Diaries" (Walter Salles) and "Garage Olimpo" (Marco Bechis) and director and producer of more than 10 films including "Lost Embrace", "Family Law", "Empty Nest" and most recently, "The Tenth Man", which opened the Panorama section at the 2016 Berlinale. Oficina Burman's activity in television production includes the coproduction of "Supermax", an ambitious project which represents the first Spanish language project by Brazilian company Globo. In 2016 Netflix chose Oficina Burman to produce its first original series in Argentina, "Edha".
The MEDIAPRO Group has been awarded the production contract for the Bolivian Professional Football League (LFPB) for The Game, the company that owns the rights to the championship. More than 60 professionals from the Group will produce 264 competition games as well as the classifying games the Bolivian National team plays at home for the World Cup, Copa America, South American Youth Football Championship U-20 and U-17, friendly matches and weekly highlights from the league. For the production, the Group will be transporting two OB Vans to Bolivia with plans underway for next season is to increase the number of clubs in the competition and as such, the matches played (14 teams and 364 matches). This expansion will require the company to increase the OB Van fleet based in Bolivia. wTVision (a MEDIAPRO Group company) began working with the Bolivian League in 2014 providing graphics services. Currently, the team of professionals is made up of editors, producers, camera operators and assistants and involves 2 OB Vans equipped with High Definition technology and 9 cameras, one of which is super slow, 2 micro cameras, 3 replay systems (1 EVS + 2 3Play), 4 heavy box lenses, satellite systems with roof mounted antenna for C and Ku a Band, 2 controls, C and Ku band teleport satellite. In addition, services will also include studio production and satellite transmission from the stadium as well as from the main studio.

The two comedians are set to launch their latest TV adventure, produced by MEDIAPRO, for the early afternoon slot on Cuatro. Backed up by a high-profile artistic and creative team, “Dani&Flo” will be back with a bang with a show which will take a humourous look at the day’s news-stories. In a permanent state of construction, the programme will highlight the day’s most important news stories from the world of polítics, society, TV, sports and culture and run it through their own particular view-finder. The news everyone is talking about as well as the hottest topics from the popular social networking sites. An interesting mix of head-lines and “trending topics” given the “Dani&Flo” treatment.

Thanks to the deal between the MEDIAPRO Group and Series Atresmedia, “Pulsaciones” is venturing abroad. The series that Antena 3 launched at the beginning of the year is set to be shown outside Spain following on from the deal signed with Global Series Network -negotiated by Imagina International Sales –. The agreement sees the series set to be broadcast in the USA and the UK on Channel 4 and Global Series Network, via its VOD Walter Presents platform.
Walter Presents, a high-profile international-content influencer, selected “Pulsaciones” from a small group of the very best international drama series, confirming the international recognition for the series, from the same stable as ‘Vis a Vis’ on Walter Presents UK, becoming the first Spanish series to be broadcast free-to-air in the UK on Channel 4.
In addition to this agreement with Global Series Network which sees “Pulsaciones” reach both the USA and the UK, the series will also be available in 24 Latin American countries via Netflix. The fiction series can already be seen in the region thanks to the AtreSeries International channel.
