| The air-show in Barcelona will take place over two days for the first time ever and will have a higher media profile | ||||
 Media sports marketing is taking charge of the organization of the upcoming Festa al Cel for the first time having won the tender presented by the Barcelona City Council. The air-show is the oldest and most important in Spain and every year sees more than 300,000 people head down to the beaches of Nova Mar Bella and Nova Icària to watch the spectacle. This year sees the event held over two days for the first time, the 2nd and 3rd October. The marketing company of the MEDIAPRO group will manage all the organizational and logistical aspects of the event, the invites and VIP attendance, as well as relations with promoters, sponsors and other supporters of the event, contacts with and monitoring of the pilots, the logistics associated with the event (the VIP area, security), the coordination of the media, the marketing and safety as well as the post-event activities. The Festa al Cel is organised by the Barcelona City Council, via its Airspace Promotion Department in conjunction with the Barcelona-Sabadell Aero Club who is responsible for the contacts with the festival participants and programming the schedule in the most attractive and safest way possible. Participants include the Spanish Air-force, the Navy, the Army, as well as other foreign air-forces, both military and civil aerobatics display teams, civil and military aviation associations, parachute groups and companies from the aeronautical sector. | ||||
