Media sports marketing has organized the route and events along the way for the “Flame on the Road” project. This Banco Santander initiative involves a Ferrari 599 GT with a F1 Santander trophy on board driving through a variety of different cities, like the Olympic torch, making its way to Bahrain by 11th March, 3 days before the start of the this year’s F1 season. The idea is to compile a series of good-luck messages from the fans for the Ferrari drivers, Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso.
A team of 5 Media sports personnel is managing the route and organizing the end of stage events and the start every morning with the trophy. The “Flame on the Road” started on 24th February in Boadilla del Monte (Madrid) travelling to Santander, London, Mönchengladbach (Germany) Maranello and São Paulo. All in just one week.
The initiative, called “Flame on the Road”, will see directors, employees, clients and guests driving the car over 50km stages.
