Francisco Romacho, the programme’s executive producer, picked up the award and in his winner’s speech highlighted the close relationship between TVE and MEDIAPRO which has made the programme, which launched back in July 2005, such a success. Jorge Pérez, director of “España Directo”, thanked the 200-strong team for all their hard work and dedication. Alongside them was a visibly moved Pilar García Muñiz, the programme’s presenter.

All the programme team Patricia Conde, Ángel Martín, Miki Nadal, Berta Collado, Dani Mateo, Alberto Casado, Cristina Pedroche, Rober Bodegas and Jose and Mario, the paparazzi, were on hand to pick up the award in the event held last Tuesday in Madrid.
