Two Overon teams, made up of six people with 2 fly-aways, travelled to Chile last week to cover the aftermath of the earthquake. They are providing broadcast services for both Spanish and international TV channels.
One of the teams is providing coverage in Santiago from the Fine Arts Academy. The second team, which travelled to Concepción, the country’s second biggest city, some 500km to the south of the capital, is currently in Asunción, the area most affected by the tsunami.
From there they are providing live NTSC/PAL, 16:9 / 4:3; play-out multi-format NTSC / PAL; editing services as well as image compression services.
