| MEDIAPRO will be responsible for the distribution of the LiveU backpack, an innovative system that allows the transmission of video and audio signals from anywhere with mobile telephone reception. MEDIAPRO is in the process of introducing the virtually simultaneous audiovisual transmission service developed by LiveU in Spain, which doesn’t need satellite support to relay live broadcasts and FTP’s. It works on maximizing the available capacity on the national telephone mobile networks and using them to transmit images. A high capacity-high reliability virtual channel is created via the aggregation of different individual channels. The transmission unit, which can be connected to any type of camera, is composed of a series of mobile telephone modems, which house the national mobile operator SIM cards. The standard pack includes 6 modems with 2 Movistar SIM cards, 2 Vodafone and 2 Orange cards. Among the biggest advantages of the LiveU system is the capacity to transmit at speeds up to 2.5 Mbps, its ability to work with all the national operators side-by-side, its portability, it can be used anywhere there is mobile reception, its speed as the images are “in the air” in less than a minute, a user-friendly touch screen and its value for money cost compared with other broadcast options.  | ||||
