 The Zapping Awards, presented by the Association of Catalan TV Viewers (TAC), have given their Values Award to “Casal Rock” for “promoting the social recognition of old people and for showing their vitality, a fact which is not always valued enough nor given enough coverage in the media.” The awards ceremony, the only ones of this type held in Catalonia, took place last Thursday in the Oval Room at the Montjuďc Palace in Barcelona. “Casal Rock”, a programme produced by Media 3.14 and El Terrat, is slated to premiere the second season after Easter.
