| K 2000 includes social networks in the Bilbao Symphony Orchestra website |

K 2000 is responsible for redesigning the new Bilbao Symphony Orchestra website, BOS, including its presence on social networking sites. This work comes on the back of excellent results from the four months being present on a variety of social networks (Facebook, Tuenti, Youtube, Flickr and Twitter) and which have resulted in a big rise in the number of users visiting the BOS website (a 39.5% increase in 2009).
These figures have led to upgrades in the site with all the content generated in other Internet channels being available on the site.
The growing importance of social networking sites led the BOS to create a series of communication channels in Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and Youtube. Later on a new content channel was created in Tuenti, whose predominantly younger generation users, is a key target market for the Orchestra.
This experience has led to the need to create an Internet structure that manages the momentum generated in the web as well as serving as creating a database of news items that are created as a consequence of the BOS’s activities.
With this objective, K 2000 and the BOS are working together to make the Orchestra website the key unifying element, which up to now, had only essentially provided information but which after the upgrade will become more interactive and more dynamic.
In order to meet the objectives set, K 2000 will be responsible for the redesign of the site as well as the management and restructuring of the content.
