A 50-minute long documentary presented by Tomas Molina which looks into the possibility of sending a manned-spacecraft to Mars in the near future, along with the potential problems of such a mission. The programme also investigates the chances of ever making the so-called “Red Planet” habitable for human life.
In addition, the documentary takes us to the desert of Utah where some years ago the Mars Society began a research project to consider the conditions necessary for sustaining life on Mars. Finally, we visit the ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut training centre in Cologne. |
