Media Report adds to its range of services an ambitious project in order to supply the emerging information needs demanded by a great deal of its clients. This service has been baptised Report News, the first Canary audiovisual news agency entirely capable of covering any kind of event.

Report News counts among its services on: production, editorial staff, news shooting and editing, shooting of private events such as shareholders meetings, product demonstrations, institutional signal broadcastings, casting services, locations, coverage of cultural and sports events, gossip, and sporting highlights.

Canarias Directo
Six ENG crews go out and about on a daily basis unearthing news stories about the day-to-day life of the people who live on the Canary Islands. They provide an in-depth look at the towns on the Islands, at their traditions, festivities, and concerns. The intrepid crews seek out information in every corner and broadcast it live, from Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Hierro, La Gomera, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote and La Palma.
Cuando el río suena

A prime-time debate programme on issues of interest on the Canary Islands and which includes the participation of the general public.

"Cuando el río suena…” is divided into two main sections. The introduction includes the investigative report carried out by the programme team and presents both sides of the debate. The report is followed by the live debate.

De todo corazón

A programme hosted by Canary Island actress Mercedes Ortega. It is carried out in a 500 m² set where the audience play an important role.

All the stories are filled with emotion and feelings, with happy endings and surprises. There will be family reunions, people proposing marriage, tributes to their loved ones... A show full of heart-felt sentiment for all the family where the principal objective is to provide an unforgettable day for the guests and the viewers watching the programme from home.

El Juramento de Puntabrava

The first fiction series set on the Islands.

Over the course of its 32 30-minute episodes, the series sets out to capture the essence of the romance between Romeo and Juliet through a story set in modern-day Canary Islands which sees a confrontation between two families over the possession of the land where a modest rural hotel, “El Mirador de Puntabrava”, lies.

Chigüesque TV

The programme produced by Media Report sets out to take a tongue in cheek look at Canary Island society through the local television network of the imaginary town Chigüesque.

Alta definición

Featuring a fresh and dynamic image, “Alta definición” highlights the most outstanding programmes on the TV channel for the upcoming week, as well as the film premieres that are to hit cinema screens in the Canary Islands.

Carlos Quintana is the show’s presenter, which also features reports about the most popular programmes on the Canary Island regional channel.

Pabellón criollo

A new programme for cooking enthusiasts. It sets out to highlight the international cuisine of the Canary Islands, kicking off with dishes from Venezuela, followed by recipes from places such as Cuba, Colombia, Uruguay, Argentina, among others.

La buena onda
"La buena onda" has been designed to maximise spectator participation and in addition to comment on the week's latest news, they will hit the streets in search of the hottest news stories, complete with hidden cameras and spoof reporters.

Spectators will also get the chance to send in their favourite Internet videos and bizarre news clips. However, the key to the programme is its different take on weekly events looking for the satirical and funny side of current affairs, taking in subjects as diverse as politics and gossip.

Butaca 46

This hour-long Saturday slot, presented by Mª José Enríquez, brings together all the latest film news.

"Cartelera" shows clips from the latest releases and the section, "Solo ante el peligro" gives a critic's view of upcoming premieres. Film celebrities face questioning in "Sospechosos habituales" and the "DVD" section previews new releases.

 
¿Qué pasó?

A cleverly scripted show presented by Vanesa Cabeza and Pedro Rodríguez that provides a round-up of the best bits from the different TV programmes on the Islands.

 
Arrasando
Professional swimmer David Meca hosts this musical talent programme, which is produced by Media Report and broadcast by Televisión Canaria. Every day ten contestants take part, with two going through to Friday's final with a panel of judges from the Canary Islands music industry in charge of deciding who makes it to the next stage.
 
En casa
A ninety-minute weekday magazine programme shown between 17:00 and 18:30. It provides an insight into modern-day life on the Canary Islands.
 
Proa 2001
A programme specially made for the 2000 New Year's Eve celebrations presented by Caco Senante and Miriam Reyes with music coming live from on board a boat, from some the Islands' and Spain's leading performers.
 
Si esta noche es Nochebuena...
A Christmas Eve TV special of interviews, spiced up with liberal lashings of humour with a modern-day Phileas Fogg reporter travelling around the Islands sending in reports of the traditional Christmas festivities accompanied by an intrepid colleague trying to get interviews with some of the more famous personalities on the Canary Islands without much success until the Nobel prizewinner José Saramago welcomed him into his home in Lanzarote.
