Callejeros  

30-minute long programme of news reporting for Cuatro.

Every week a different topic is chosen to be the focus of the show. The programme makers are interested not only in local topics, but also national or international news stories. With a remit to cover even the most shocking events this is a hard-hitting show.

"Callejeros" sets out to roll back the frontiers of investigative journalism. It is a style which hopes to connect with the TV viewer from the off. The news is offered in a direct, viewer-friendly way with the only filter being the camera itself.

 
Special reports with “Gonzo”  

MEDIAPRO has produced three in-depth reports series with Fernando González "Gonzo".

The first, “Sanz Briz: El Schlinder español” is an investigation which discovered how this Spanish diplomat managed to save the lives of thousands of peopleduring the Franco regime.

“Franco: Operación Caídos”, an in-depth documentary in which hitherto unknown information about the large-scale operation of the movement of bodies of civil war dead by the Franco regime to the Valley of the Fallen.

The report “Valle de los Caídos: La obsesión de Franco” reveals hitherto unknown facts about what would become the Franco regime’s most emblematic legacy and how the dictator played a hands-on role in its designes.

"Fútbol 6”, which is 30 minutes long, casts its eye over all the latest footballing news with special emphasis on Real Madrid.

laSexta/Noticias

 

laSexta/News relies on the MEDIAPRO group to provide all its news coverage needs including picture capture, editing, production and broadcast services for both its news and sports programmes.

In the central editing studios in the Ciudad de la Imagen in Madrid, there are more than 163 reporters, picture editors, researchers, producers, coordinators and technicians.

laSexta/Noticias also has at its disposal 38 MEDIAPRO staff, in its regional offices in Andalusia, Galicia, the Basque Country, Catalonia and the Valencian Regional Community to cover all the news as it happens.

 
Aragón Noticias  

MEDIAPRO supplies the Aragonese regional television channel with all the content for its news programmes.

A team of producers, technicians, cameramen and reporters have covered all the social, business, political, cultural and sporting news from around the region and Spain since Aragón Televisión began broadcasts in April 2006.

The team, made up of more than 80 staff, also provides editing services for in-house production as well as from agencies for both the daily news programmes and special weekly news slots.

 
TPA  

Asturmedia in the Asturias Regional Community Television channel

Asturmedia, a company in which the MEDIAPRO group is a shareholder, is responsible for the sports news for ARCT with a team of 30 covering all the production needs for both news and sporting events in the region.

The team is made up editors, reporters, picture editors, producers and their remit is to cover all the latest sports news not only from around the region but also from the rest of Spain. The team is made up of editors, reporters, picture editors, producers and researchers.

The team produce 2 daily blocks of sports news, a weekly round-up programme of sports news from the region, a highlights programme from the Spanish football league with special emphasis on the teams from the region as well as providing the resources to cover live sporting events from around the region.   
 
  

 
Antena 3 Noticias  

Since October 2004 MEDIAPRO has been responsible for the production, image capture and news editing for Antena 3 News from its offices and team of regional news correspondents.  

The news coverage services are provided around Spain with a team of more than 150 MEDIAPRO staff in Barcelona, Valencia, Bilbao, San Sebastian, Vitoria, Pamplona, Santiago de Compostela, Oviedo, Seville, Malaga, Algeciras and Zaragoza. News teams, picture editors, producers and technicians all work together to ensure Antena 3 provides a quality news service for its viewers.

To help in that task a whole range of equipment is used which includes 38 ENG teams, 32 of which in SX format and 6 in DVCPRO P2 format. The editing process is carried out using 20 SX editing cases as well as providing non-lineal editing services in the Barcelona office.

Toca el 2  

A family quiz-show presented by the actor Jordi Díaz and shown on Televisió de Catalunya.

An entertaining 50-minute show full of fun for all the family where the contestants’ speed at answering the questions is put to the test.

The programme, produced by MEDIAPRO, was based on the successful Globomedia quiz show “Date el bote” that has been presented by Carlos Sobera on ETB2 for the last six seasons.

 
Apuesta en 20"  

A programme for laSexta, presented by Javier Martín.

“Apuesta en 20” was a show where strategy as well as general knowledge play their part in the bid for victory.

Three contestants had 20 seconds to bid for the questions they wish to answer with 125.000 euros at stake. The aim was to save the highest amount possible.

 
Mujeres  

Produced by El Deseo and MEDIAPRO for La 2, TVE.

A fiction series created by the filmmakers Dunia Ayaso and Félix Sabroso.

"Mujeres" told the story of a group of women living in a Madrid neighbourhood: their problems, thrills, frustrations and dreams. A story narrated from the commitment with the reality: tenderness, truth and humour.

 
Dímelo al oído  

A programme for laSexta, presented by Eva González and Iván Sánchez.

“Dímelo al oído” was a new format which combined two genres: competition and reality, and in which the microphone played an important role throughout the programme. In this programme, the contestants got to choose a mate from three candidates.

 
Tal como somos  

A prime time programme presented by Teresa Viejo, on Castilla-La Mancha TV.

A programme aimed at reflecting the feelings of the inhabitants of Castilla-La Mancha, their hopes and aspirations. The two-hour programme went out live.

 

 
En directe  
A daily magazine programme that went out from Monday to Friday on TV3 - Televisió de Catalunya from 19.30 to 20.30.
"En Directe" was a programme based on live link-ups and reports of local interest developed by the nine teams of reporters who tackle the issues of the day.
Every day a team of more than 40 people moved around Catalunya.

In 1998, MEDIAPRO and Canal Sur created "Andalucía Directo", a report and live link-up programme a programme which had only previously been done once in Spain with "Madrid Directo". "Andalucía Directo" remains a key part of the programme planning for Canal Sur and has received more than 30 awards, including the Antena de Oro, awarded by the Federación de Asociaciones de Profesionales de Radio y Televisión (Federation of Radio and Television Professional Associations).

 
Mire Usté  

The programme by Minoria Absoluta is produced by MEDIAPRO and Cancuca for Antena 3 TV.

The programme was based around gags and sketches featuring impersonations of well-known politicians.

“Mire Usté” used the traditional set-up of all late-night shows, with its stage, audience, canned laughter, but with one exception the presenter, who was a different political figure each week, changing with every programme.

The sketches and gags were the backbone of the show with short comical skits on the latest political current affairs.

 
Arrasando  

A karaoke style programme shown from Monday to Friday, in prime time, on Castilla La Mancha TV. It was presented by María Abradelo and moved from place to place every week.

The contest produced by MEDIAPRO enjoyed increasing viewer ratings.

La nit en directe  

The "En directe" team put together a late-night summer version for the 2006 season.

The show which brought viewers all the latest leisure and cultural news from around Catalonia saw Xantal Llavina and Xescu Tapias presenting with Núria Gispert directing. The live link-ups and in situ reports kept viewers abreast with the very best events for the long, hot summer nights.

 
L'estiu en directe  

From the producers of "En directe" was a new offshoot programme for the summer months called "L’estiu en directe". The hour-long show featured new backdrops and revised content.

Ruth Jimenez was lined up to present "L'estiu en directe" every evening on TV3.

 
La vida es Rosa  

"La vida es rosa" was presented by Rosa Villacastín and joined by Olga Marset. The programme had its own team of journalists and specialized reporters. For an hour, all the latest gossip news was dealt with by means of a fresh professional approach with the highest rigor. A journalistic point of view, all facts checked, the best team and a lively mix were the features that defined “La vida es rosa”.

The programme was broadcasted live on Antena 3 from Monday to Friday.

 
El equipo G  

This docu-show, produced by MEDIAPRO, was Spain’s version of the Emmy award-winning programme “Queer eye for the straight guy”. Five gay men, all experts in different areas, advised a straight guy in each of the programmes trying to improve his personal appearance and life style with a view to enhancing his appeal and trendiness.

“El equipo G” comprised Gonzalo García, an interior design expert; Pablo Iglesias, a beautician, Frank Martin, a food and nutrition advisor; Víctor Massan, an expert in leisure and culture; and finally Erik Putzbach, a fashion advisor.

 
Nuestros caminos a Santiago  

A documentary series for TVE produced by MEDIAPRO in collaboration with El Camino Producciones. It was digitally shot in several Spanish locations with 15 autonomous communities taking part.

The actor Carmelo Gómez hosted "Nuestros caminos a Santiago", with the broadcast coinciding with the Xacobeo 2004. The series included the presence of such outstanding collaborators as Paulo Coelho, Matilde Asensi and Jesús Torbado, all authors who have touched upon the pilgrims’ route to Santiago de Compostela in their works.

"Nuestros caminos de Santiago" comprised 16 half-hour episodes.

Diario de una boda  
A daily weekday programme focusing on Prince Felipe's wedding for Antena 3.

This programme was directed by Kike Álvarez and presented by Jaime Cantizano and Mónica Martínez. It had live link-ups and regular slots like the "reporter on duty"; from the Catedral de la Almudena for the 100 days leading up to the wedding to relate the latest events.

 
Barnetegia  

An innovative contest which tracks fourteen contestants' efforts to learn the Basque language whilst living together. The participants of this MEDIAPRO group, 3Koma production all shared a house while learning the language in different locations round the Basque Country.

The students, who a basic knowledge of the language were set tests in order to stay in the contest, broadcast on ETB1, for thirteen weeks.

 
Tenim paraula  
One minute-long slot where a non-Catalan speaking person born outside Spain explained a word or expression from Catalan which had left an impression on them.

Directed by Ramon Solsona, writer and philologist who coordinated and provided the background to the words and phrases chosen by more than 40 guests.

Més paraules  

After the success of the first series "Tenim paraula", Televisió de Catalunya released 65 new one-minute minislots following a similar format.

"Més paraules" brougth together Catalan novelists, poets, theatre writers, children's writers, journalists, investigators and scriptwriters who had all published books. Each person was asked to select a word or an expression in Catalan that amused them or had some importance for them.

 
Hala Madrid  

A weekly programme focusing on the centenary of Real Madrid football club.

Each programme payed tribute to the team's best players over their 100-year history. Every week supporters, journalists and famous people shared their experiences of Real Madrid in this moving, entertaining and insightful programme.

Boxing  

MEDIAPRO produced two programmes for Vía Digital on professional boxing. The first, "Vía Box" broadcasted every Friday at midnight on the Gran Vía channel features weekly fight highlights and a round-up of all the latest boxing news.

The second programme, on Saturday nights, featured the most important live World Championship fighted for the Palco channel, bringing viewers the very best fights from around the world. Fight stars such as "The Prince" Nassem Hamed, Óscar de la Hoya, "The Terrible" Morales, "The Sweet" Sugar Shane Mosley, "The Marcian" Roy Jones Jr. and all the heavyweight stars: Tyson, Lewis, Rahman, and Klitschko...
